Travel to Asilomar
If you are traveling from outside the US, please check wheteher you need a visa. Most Canadian citizens and many citizens from Visa Waiver Program countries can come to the United States (U.S.) without a visa if they meet certain requirements. All Visa Waiver Program travelers must present a machine-readable passport at the U.S. port of entry to enter the U.S. without a visa; otherwise a U.S. visa is required. Travel to Asilomar
Asilomar Conference Center is located on the Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, CA.
Monterey Peninsula Airport (MRY) is 8 miles East of Asilomar
- Taxi service is available at the Monterey Airport. Fares to Asilomar should run about $25, the trip takes approximately 20 minutes.
- The fare between MRY and Asilomar on the Monterey-Salinas Transit bus system is $1.75, the trip takes about 30 minutes.
Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) is 80 miles to the North
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is 110 miles to the North
- The airports in San Jose and San Francisco are served by the Monterey Airbus shuttle. You can book tickets online and they can bring travelers right to Asilomar Conference Grounds.
- Asilomar - SFO:$65 each way
Asilomar - San Jose airport: $55 each way
Round trip car service is available from Main Event Transportation. Prices below are for three passengers in a sedan. They also offer larger vehicles. Accomodation
The full on-site conference fee includes housing, all meals, and the Gala Dinner at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Any further Information on conference accomodation will be posted here when available. Single day and off-site registration is available allowing you to book your own accomodation or attend only specific days.
